In January we will once again be visiting Val Gardena. Following the invitation of the Ortisei Tourism Board we will perform at S. Antonio Square and give a second concert for the cultural association "jeuni de mujiga".
The latter will surely mark a highlight of our career: in collaboration with dancing star Anastasia Kostner we will take you on a journey of rhythm, dance and special effects. This show in the cultural centre of Ortisei will be a truly outstanding experience.

Another Huge Success
Last night’s concert at the Lanserhaus in Eppan was a big reward for Contakt Percussion Group: a large, enthusiastic audience, perfect organisation and outstanding composers made for a very special event indeed.
We’d like to thank the entire “transart” team, Rai Bozen with Yvonne Miracolo and Renate Gamper, all technicians, the administration of Lanserhaus as well as Daniel and Dominik.
It was thanks to you that last night was so special - it means a lot to us!

Half time for our percussion group
After two successful concerts at "valgardenaMUSIKA" in St. Ulrich and the 6th International Interpretation Courses in Toblach the next concert will be on Sunday, September 13. At the Franzensfeste fortress we will take part in Wofgang Mitterer’s world premiere, a sound installation composed for "transart 09". We hope for good weather and a large audience, who shouldn’t miss at this unique event. Entry to the exhibition is free!

With four concerts coming up, September is going to be an eventful month.
The first concert is again part of the festival "valgardenaMUSIKA", this time in cooperation with "Ensemble Gherdeina". We are going to play the world premiere of a composition by Eduard Demetz. This concert will round off this year’s festival.
A concert in Toblach is to follow soon, as part of the 6th International Interpretation Courses in cooperation with the music academy Detmold.
The first of two concerts that are part of this year’s festival "transart09” will take place on September 13 at Franzensfeste fortress, where a world premiere by Wolfgang Mitterer will see a total of 200 musicians and singers. Another world premiere by Eduard Demetz will be performed at the Lanserhaus in Eppan. Two Italian premieres by Francesco Filidei will also be part of the programme.

Last Friday’s concert at St. Christina was another huge success. The enthusiasm of an audience of more than 300 people made this concert very special to us. Thanks to all our fans as well as to the president of the festival Eduard Demetz, who has made this event possible.

Brevity ist he soul of wit: this is the motto of our next gig next Thursday, May 21 in Bolzano. We are going to liven up the graduation ceremony of the „JAM" course (Junior Assistant Manager) with four interludes. Be it refuse bins or cardboard, we are going to play our own style and give other meaning to the meaning of percussion.

Yvonne Miracolo, presenter of „classical music in portrait“ invited us as her fist guests. Compositions by J. Zivkovic, E. Kopetzki and our own arrangements wil be performed while having a chat with Yvonne.
