Hibernation's over!!!
We're preparing for the oncoming concert season... several events have already been planned, others still need some fine-tuning. Please find 3 new gigs under "Termine/dates", more will follow soon.

It's time to look back...
on a very eventful year 2011!!! It was as varied as it could be, from freezing cold in winterly Ortisei to dance performances and clean teeth, brushed live in the Laurin Hotel bar in Bolzano.
On this occasion we'd like to thank all of our event managers, who have been supporting us for quite some years and who have made sure to offer us the possibility to play live. Also, we'd like to thank the composers who constantly come up with new challenges- which is exactly what we're looking for!!! :-)

We are ready! Transart 2010 here we come!
In cooperation with 8 other percussionists conTakt will take part in the opening ceremony of this year’s festival of contemporary art „transart10“ next Wednesday and Thursday.
For its 10-year anniversary the composer Hannes Kerschbaumer has arranged a composition for 12 percussionists, which premieres on the upcoming events at Transart.
Hannes has dedicated the piece entitled “OtMoor” to the Ensemble “conTakt percussion group”. Many thanks that we have the honour!
We hope for a successful concert and a rewarding evening for our fans. We remind you that the performances take place on Wednesday and Thursday, 8 / 9 September at 8.30 p.m. in the Ex-Alumix building, Bolzano Zona Industriale, via Volta 11.

Our rehearsals for the upcoming events: we are ready for the open air in the “Wieser Steinbruch”! For further information go to “concerts”
We also work on the daring performance at this year’s Transart festivals on 8 and 9 September, as well as the prestigious concert at the Laurin Hotel in Bolzano featuring a world premiere by Manuela Kerer and the Italian premiere of the Norwegian Jazz artist Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje.

In January we will once again be visiting Val Gardena. Following the invitation of the Ortisei Tourism Board we will perform at S. Antonio Square and give a second concert for the cultural association "jeuni de mujiga".
The latter will surely mark a highlight of our career: in collaboration with dancing star Anastasia Kostner we will take you on a journey of rhythm, dance and special effects. This show in the cultural centre of Ortisei will be a truly outstanding experience.

Another Huge Success
Last night’s concert at the Lanserhaus in Eppan was a big reward for Contakt Percussion Group: a large, enthusiastic audience, perfect organisation and outstanding composers made for a very special event indeed.
We’d like to thank the entire “transart” team, Rai Bozen with Yvonne Miracolo and Renate Gamper, all technicians, the administration of Lanserhaus as well as Daniel and Dominik.
It was thanks to you that last night was so special - it means a lot to us!
